Don’t Quit Your Daydream
My first stretched piece—a diptych…AND I just noticed the top piece is upside down.
No matter how prepared you try to be there is always something in life that challenges you from out of nowhere.
Two things: The studio situation—this could be a bummer but I’m working with it. There is always a way, but you must put in the effort!
The other thing was some questionable calcifications one my right breast that resulted in a biopsy. This scared the shit out of me, and it was painful. Also, I am claustrophobic, and the procedure gave me terrible anxiety. Thankfully, the results were benign.
Life is always happening—there is always something. The people who make their dreams come true know this and focus on their response and action to the problems.
The important thing is being flexible, fluid & understanding that making dreams come at a cost. That price depends on you & what you believe is possible. You are stronger than you know. Do not forget that.
This process has not been easy, but it is so exciting and worth it. For the first time in a very long time, I feel fully aligned with who I am.
This dream of pursuing my art career has been on the back burner for many years. Making the time to do it was one of the best decisions I have made. Evenings and weekends of time invested are my contribution—the rest is in God/the Universe’s hands.
If a dream is pressing on your heart, then it’s there for a reason. You are here to do something with it. Don’t quit your daydream!
Going behind the scenes (lol get it????)
Four down and many, many more to go!
