The Sidewalks of New York

On my daily walks through New York City, I am bombarded by many things, situations and people. I pull inspiration not just from what’s happening around me, but also what’s going on below me.

The sidewalks of New York are a great inspiration for me. They have been walked on, trampled, fallen upon, had bottles broken upon them, abused, pissed on, shat on, soaked with leaky garbage and so on.

Yet at the same time, they ask nothing as they continue to support and carry the many great people that have, and someday will, walk upon them.
